“Fatherhood” Review

A widowed new dad copes with doubts, fears, heartache and dirty diapers as he sets out to raise his daughter on his own. Inspired by a true story.

Netflix really did me dirty with this great movie. The trailer they played was pure comedy, but this has only a few truly light hearted moments, it’s mostly a heavy and emotion film about the exceptionally tragic death of a woman immediately after she gives birth, then the women that express their believe that the new widowed father is going to be unable to raise the kid. It’s a great movie that has real emotional depth, but that trailer was a lie and I’m still bitter about it.
