“The Mask of Zorro” Review

Directed by Martin Campbell. With Antonio Banderas, Anthony Hopkins, Catherine Zeta-Jones, José María de Tavira. A young thief, seeking revenge for the death of his brother, is trained by the once great, but aged Zorro, who also pursues vengeance of his own.

I have a soft spot for this film because I grew up watching the 50’s television show and I really feel like this movie is a love letter to that old show. It doesn’t hurt that this was Catherine Zeta Jones, Antonio Banderas, and Anthony Hopkins all in their prime.
