The Core: Directed by Jon Amiel. With Christopher Shyer, Ray Galletti, Eileen Pedde, Rekha Sharma. The only way to save Earth from catastrophe is to drill down to the core and set it spinning again.

This is one of my wife’s favored natural disaster films, but for me it’ll always be at the bottom of the list for how silly the premise is.
