A well done documentary / discussion with people that recently had their own brushes with the social media mobs with detailed break downs of how we got here, how poorly the responsible people are dealing with it, and how the companies hosting the content have washed their hands of the entire situation. There’s an ex-google employee that makes a fantastic statement about how social media has been trained to promote the most hateful, spiteful bullshit that anonymous users spew onto the platforms.
It’s on HBO Max, which I paid for again because of Matrix reasons, but this is good to watch while you’re waiting for your wife to come home with sushi from the local gas station.
