“Yakuza Princess” Review

Yakuza Princess: Directed by Vicente Amorim. With Ricardo Gelli, Tsuyoshi Ihara, Atsumi Iwakiri, Ken Kaneco. The heiress to half of the Yakuza crime syndicate forges an uneasy alliance with an amnesiac stranger who believes an ancient sword binds their two fates. She must unleash war against the other half of the syndicate who wants her dead.

Did you know that the largest group of Japanese people outside of Japan is in Brazil? That’s where the bulk of this movie takes place, with a few scenes taking place back in Japan. There’s a bit of fun sword play, but other than that I wasn’t really enamored by the story.
