“Arlington Road” Review

| Amazon

Arlington Road: Directed by Mark Pellington. With Jeff Bridges, Tim Robbins, Joan Cusack, Hope Davis. A man begins to suspect his neighbors are not what they appear to be and their secrets could be deadly.

Set in 1999 before google was really a thing, and before cell phones had near universal acceptance, this is a perfect snap shot of the United States at the time. There’s a personal note here, Hope Davis drives the same sorta kind of mustang that I used to have, though mine was a convertible, hers is a hard top.

I found the movie in a thread on Reddit about movies that had a unique structure, and boy howdy does this one deliver. If you’ve seen it before you’ll know what I’m talking about, if you haven’t seen it, don’t look up much on the film if you’re planning on seeing it, it’s much better to go in blind!
