“Gunpowder Milkshake” Review

Gunpowder Milkshake: Directed by Navot Papushado. With Karen Gillan, Joanna Bobin, Freya Allan, Lena Headey. Three generations of women fight back against those who could take everything from them.

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: A contract killer is good at their job, maybe even the best there is, but suddenly the organization that they’ve worked with for so many years turns their back on them and they have to set things right by killing everyone that gets in their way!

It’s a well traveled story and at this point the only things that’s going to be different in it is the actors involved, of which this film gives some of the very best that Hollywood has to offer, including new comer Chloe Coleman, who I last saw in “My Spy”. She doesn’t seem to have aged all that much between these two films, so perhaps she’s an immortal being who’s cursed to look young for all of eternity?

Regardless of the actors or that horrible movie poster included on this post, it’s a great movie to watch while on your laptop doing nothing much of anything, the action is entertaining, the end result is predictable, and justice prevails in the end.
