Bo Burnham (born 1990) is who I (born 1980) want to be when I grow up. At least, his public side, he makes it clear that there’s a tormented soul behind it all with a plethora of issues that were either pre-existing or arose from his meteoric rise in the public spotlight.
The special is pretty good, it’s a one man show in all aspects, apparently made over a year during lockdown (he must not be in Florida where we barely even knew anything was going on, save for the overflowing hospitals and grave yards, but we don’t talk about such things here, hey look, Disney’s open again!).
