“Spies in Disguise” Review

| Amazon

Directed by Nick Bruno, Troy Quane. With Rachel Brosnahan, Jarrett Bruno, Claire Crosby, Toru Uchikado. When the world’s best spy is turned into a pigeon, he must rely on his nerdy tech officer to save the world.

I was definitely holding out on watching this one, just because of the premise. It turns a spy into a pigeon, which is a dumb, stupid, and silly concept that I didn’t think would result in anything other than a forgettable mess of a movie that wouldn’t entertain. It’s not completely forgettable, and it’s not much of a mess at all, but I guaranty you that if he were changed into a squirrel instead of a dumb pigeon, it would have been much more unforgettable.

There’s a couple new Will Smith tracks in the film, which really is fun to hear.
