“Spontaneous” Review

Directed by Brian Duffield. With Katherine Langford, Charlie Plummer, Yvonne Orji, Hayley Law. Get ready for the outrageous coming-of-age love story about growing up…and blowing up. When students in their school begin exploding (literally), seniors Mara and Dylan struggle to survive in a world where each moment may be their last.

This is a much different movie than the humorous trailer made me believe, not for the worse, just different. It’s a good film and I’m growing to be a fan of Katherine Langford. I’m not happy that a few things are never fully fleshed out and some of the story choices just don’t make sense, but the positives far outweigh the negatives.
