“The Intergalactic Adventures of Max Cloud” Review

Directed by Martin Owen. With Scott Adkins, John Hannah, Lashana Lynch, Elliot James Langridge. A space cruiser crashes on a planet that is home to an intergalactic prison.

It’s about a girl that gets sucked into a video game and has to fight her way out. You may say to yourself, golly that sure does sound like the recent “Jumanji” films that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson stars in, and you’d be completely right about that! It’s just like that, just different, and in some ways, better! There’s no one here like The Rock where he’s The Rock playing The Rock in a Rock video game, and several of the fight scenes here in Max Cloud actually have legitimate fighting game feels to them.

There are a few familiar actors, but I don’t spoil it too much for you when I say that the famous people aren’t the primary draw, it’s the main two characters that I like the best.
