This is likely the best Halloween film to date with little to nothing in it that I can honestly pick at. It ignores the previous two Rob Zombie films and even ignores the death of the main characters, but this series has never really respected the deaths before has it? There are some excellent echos of the first film, and I was a fan of the survival house that she built, though honestly I would have made it somewhat more secure, but those paper thin walls all turned out to be there for a reason, didn’t they?
