“Mandy” Review

Directed by Panos Cosmatos. With Nicolas Cage, Andrea Riseborough, Linus Roache, Ned Dennehy. The enchanted lives of a couple in a secluded forest are brutally shattered by a nightmarish hippie cult and their demon-biker henchmen, propelling a man into a spiraling, surreal rampage of vengeance.

I watched this immediately after ‘Colors Out of Space’ because I was expecting ‘Mandy’ to be more of a revenge thriller, but it was not. It was more mind bending insanity with Nicolas Cage slowly going insane after his lover is taken from him by a cult.

Enjoyable, but weird as fuck.
