The base is built out of wood, with 3 diferrent sized paper crystals tubes (Freezer Paper / thick and glossy on one side) that slide over clear acrylic mounts. Random crystal mounts are installed with custom wired white LED lights which make the paper crystals glow from within and between crystals. I also have some green plastic caps to put over the LEDs for pockets of green. A clear plastic Jorel mask also comes with this fortress.
sadly it doesn’t seem like he was able to sell it, but wow. what a labor of love. The tubes and lights themselves don’t seem to be too difficult, but the interlacing of them, that’s the part that makes me cringe in OSD lust. He even put together a maker’s blog for those of us wondering how to make our own little fortress.
