This X-Wing Pilot Helmet comes from Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope. It’s a faithful recreation of the iconic headgear that Luke Skywalker wore in the exciting Death Star trench run in the epic battle of Yavin! Utilizing digital scans of an original X-wing helmet in the Lucasfilm archive and an actual APH-6B helmet, as well as castings of an original visor and chin cup, eFX’s engineers, model-makers, and artists painstakingly constructed the master patterns to produce this prop replica. The full-scale helmet replica is made of quality fiberglass, injection-molded plastic, and machined metal, with a fully padded interior and removable, real-leather ear cups. This beautiful reproduction is a limited edition of only 750 pieces worldwide that comes with a certificate of authenticity, eFX display base, and numbered plaque. The microphone is from a Racal Minilite headset. This is the same headset that Luke and Han wore when fighting the TIE fighters in their escape from the Death Star!
In Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope, Luke Skywalker was assigned the wing position of Red Five and flew his X-wing starfighter in the Battle of Yavin against the Empire’s mightiest weapon, the dreaded Death Star. Using all his skills as a bush pilot in Beggar’s Canyon on Tatooine, and with the Force now his ally, Luke maneuvered down the Death Star’s trench, evading enemy fire and even Darth Vader, to deliver the final devastating blow and became an unlikely hero of the Rebellion.
The original helmet was made from an APH-6B Vietnam-era flight helmet used by the U.S. Navy, circa 1969. This helmet included the dual visor cover. A ridge was also added over the top, from front to back. The helmet was then cast in halves to make the master patterns, and the X-wing pilot helmets were vacuum formed from these patterns. Upon assembly, a strip of ABS was added to hide the parting line of the two halves.
Sideshow is pleased to announce from Medicom Toy Corporation the 12-inch RAH R5-D4 figure. The figure is highly authentic and film accurate, and ready to take life on your shelf in any dynamic pose that you desire. Medicom Toy’s RAH body is one of the most articulated 12-inch figure bodies available, capable of nearly any pose that the human or droid body can achieve.
IIRC, in the “official” comics, this R5 unit was actually the first Jedi / force sensitive robotic unit.no comments
I’ve always liked that scene in Reign Of Fire where these post-apocalyptic survivors re-enact Star Wars scenes for their children; in the future, the stories that we really like have become legends. For this poster I tried to do something similar, but in the opposite direction in time. I wanted to see how the cantina scene would look if it had been illustrated for an old book, if Star Wars was a traditional epic adventure sharing space with King Arthur and Beowulf. Who knows, maybe sometime in the future it will.”

It’s not the full thing, it doesn’t fly on anti-gravity engines, and it doesn’t include lots of wookie hair, but I definitely like this 11 by 8-inch Millennium Falcon released at Toy Fair. Why? Because the damn thing FLIES.

The face that launched a thousand destroyers now gets your day started with eyes that glow the time, Volume and Snooze controls integrated into the design, and a voice that could roust an entire Empire out of bed. Set the alarm to play authentic Vader film quotes (“We would be honored if you joined us.” and “The Force is strong with this one.”), tune in to your favorite AM/FM station, or plug an MP3 or CD player into the input jack. 6½”H.no comments
They don’t really show off the shoes too much in this commercial for shoes, but the general idea is that they’re Star Wars themed shoes for adults.
Guest starring in this commercial is Snoop Dogg and Daft Punk.no comments
